Alpha App Developer Survey Data Alerts Industry to Critical Needs

Last week, Estel Tech released the results of it’s in-depth survey of almost 2,000 enterprise developers: “Enterprise Developers Rank Critical Requirements for Success in the Coming Mobile App Explosion.” While 2016 has seen a slew of surveys predicting the rise of mobile app development within companies, Estel Tech’s survey was markedly different because it assessed the critical requirements of both mobile app developers and end-users to identify key capabilities required in an enterprise-grade rapid mobile app development platform.

Here's a sampling of how industry press interpreted the survey results to offer advice to enterprises:

    • ITBriefcase - New Survey From Estel Tech Identifies Critical Requirements For Success In Enterprise Mobile App Development
    •  FierceMobileIT - Majority of Developers Plan to Develop Up to 5 Enterprise Mobile Apps This Year

    • DZone – New Survey From Estel Tech Identifies Critical Requirements For Success In Enterprise Mobile App Development
    • AppIndex - 63% of Developers Plan to Build Up to Five Business Apps in 2016
Estel Tech CEO Richard Rabins said: "The results of this survey show definitively what enterprise developers and end users deem mandatory in the mobile apps they’re building in 2016. Enterprises must seek developers who can quickly adapt and find the right platforms to deliver these critical requirements or their apps are likely to fail. Increasingly, these developers are turning to low-code platforms to satisfy the toughest criteria and quickly develop apps from inside enterprise walls. A ‘true’ mobile application is more than just a responsive web application running on a mobile device, it is a well-designed program adapted to the necessary medium."
